This package contains a range of labels and instructions. These labels can be used along with other labels available from Nesta’s Ark to be used in several subjects. They are great as starters or for plenaries. It comes with instructions and a spreadsheet with all the data so that teachers can check who should be in each group. Try giving pupils labels and let them find students with matching labels to create a group or have the group labels around the room and get pupils to move to the correct group area. These labels cover several elements of climates such as Vegitation, Precipitation, Day Length and Facts. The climates covered are Cold, Temperate, Subtropical and Tropical.

Find the animals in the word search. This can be used as a starter in a lesson where students then find information about an animal from the list. This could include listing which are carnivore, herbivore, insectivore, etc; or reptile, insect, mammal, etc.; maybe finding out the environment they live in or their care needs.
